Kent Manor Inn to be sold at auction June 15
CENTREVILLE — The threestory Kent Manor Inn, on 226.37 acres in Stevensville, is scheduled to be sold at a public foreclosure auction at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, on the front steps of the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Courthouse, 100 Court House Square, Centreville.
Kent Manor Inn is located at 500 Kent Manor Drive in Stevensville. A waterfront property located along Thompson Creek and Cox Creek with expansive views and historic coastal appeal, this property is, according to a third-party report, a three-story, 24-room, 18,496+/- SF resort lodging facility built in 1820. Additional property features include a breakfast room, outdoor pool, water gazebo, octagon shaped meeting/banquet space, and a new permanent event structure to accommodate weddings/meetings. There is a small residence near the main inn building along with several sheds and a restaurant/lounge space with seating for about 90 people. The property also includes a dock. The entire property is zoned CS (Countryside) by Queen Anne’s County. Personal property is not included in this auction and will be sold at a separate auction.
Auction Markets LLC, which has listed the auction, lists the terms of sale as follows: the property will be sold subject to (i) all conditions, liens, restrictions, rights of redemption, covenants, encumbrances and agreements of record that take priority over the Deed of Trust; and (ii) such state of facts that an accurate survey or physical inspection of the Property might disclose. A deposit of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) is required at the time and place of sale, payable by cashier’s check drawn on a bank acceptable to the Substitute Trustees, in their discretion.
