This loveable ball of energy is Boba, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire terrier mix. At 65 lbs., he wants nothing more than to be a lap dog. Boba has found that when he sits a yummy treat will follow; he is now learning obedience training and is very motivated with treats. Children and other doggie friends are a plus for Boba. He hasn’t interacted with cats before, so we are unsure how he would act. Boba would be ecstatic to have a home with a fenced yard, or someone who likes to go for walks. To meet Boba or any of the adoptable pets, visit Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne’s County from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m Tuesday through Sunday. Call 410-827-7178 or visit the web at
