CCA MD-Kent Nar­rows Tourney largest yet

GRA­SONVILLE — With the largest turnout in its 13year his­tory, the Bass Pro Shop-Coastal Con­ser­va­tion As­so­ci­a­tion Kent Nar­rows Light Tackle & Fly Catch and Re­lease Tournament saw Craig Sheri­dan of David­sonville catch­ing the largest fish to win the Light Tackle Di­vi­sion. Sheri­dan cap­tured a 38-3/8 inch striped bass in the Satur­day tourney.

Other di­vi­sion winners were Jack Mis­ter (La Plata) with a 30-3/4 incher, to take top hon­ors in the kayak di­vi­sion, and Mike Dun­lap (Chestertown) with a 31-5/8 inch striper to win the fly cat­e­gory.

More than 170 an­glers par­tic­i­pated in the one­day event, an in­crease of 50 an­glers from last year. Other top fin­ish­ers were: Light tackle: Chris Richard­son (Gra­sonville), 35-1/2 inches, sec­ond; Jess Ross­man (Bal­ti­more), 35-1/4, third.

Kayak: Dan Frank (Mid­dle River), 29-7/8 inches, sec­ond; Chuck Cham­bers (Eas­ton), 27-1/2 inches, third.

Fly: Doug (Wash­ing­ton, Ro­maine D.C.), 26 inches, sec­ond; Ed Lic­cione, 25-1/4 inches, third.
