Sudlersville to hold special election
SUDLERSVILLE — The town will hold a special election on July 6 to change its corporate name from “The Commissioners of Sudlersville” to “Town of Sudlersville.”
Qualified town voters may cast their ballots from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Town Office, 200 S. Church St., Sudlersville, on Charter Amendment Resolution No. 2016-01. If approved, the name change will take effect July 11.
Voters who want to vote absentee must contact the town clerk-treasurer in person or by calling 410-438-3465 for a ballot. Absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls July 6 to be counted.
