His­toric Stevensville holds yard sale

STEVENSVILLE — The His­toric Stevensville Arts and En­ter­tain­ment Dis­trict has an­nounced its fourth event in the First Satur­days pro­gram will be a com­mu­nity yard sale and side­walk sale to be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, on July 2. The event will fea­ture yard sell­ers from the area of the Stevensville Pocket Park.

“The down­town Stevensville area is the heart of Kent Is­land and a great source of pride and in­ter­est for lo­cals and the quaint his­toric sites and shops are a wel­comed at­trac­tion to vis­i­tors,” Queen Anne’s County Tourism Man­ager Laney Solomon said. “First Satur­days are a won­der­ful way for Queen Anne’s County to cel­e­brate our her­itage and the small towns that make up Queen Anne’s County. Shop­ping and cel­e­brat­ing lo­cally sup­ports our area busi­nesses, his­tory and artists.”
