Two suspected drug dealers from Queenstown under arrest
QUEENSTOWN — The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force arrested and charged two Queenstown residents June 16 after serving a search warrant at their residence on the 6800 block of Main Street about 5:20 a.m.
Robert Ethan Turner, 21, and Jessica Ann Lander, 28, were at home when the warrant was served. Members of the task force, assisted by uniformed Maryland State Police troopers, entered through the unlocked front door after knocking and announcing themselves.
The search found 328.4 grams of processed marijuana, marijuana oil, 0.3 grams of heroin, working digital scales, packaging materials, $3,046 in U.S. currency and cellular phones, police said.
A search of the suspects’ cell phones revealed they were actively selling controlled dangerous substances in the area, police said.
This warrant was the result of a month-long investigation into neighborhood complaints about the use and sales drugs in the area, include the residence and the local park.
Turner, who has a previous criminal history for drug violations, was being charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Lander, who has no previous criminal history, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Turner was released on $7,500 bail, and Lander on $5,000.
