Two sus­pected drug deal­ers from Queen­stown un­der ar­rest

QUEEN­STOWN — The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force ar­rested and charged two Queen­stown res­i­dents June 16 af­ter serv­ing a search war­rant at their res­i­dence on the 6800 block of Main Street about 5:20 a.m.

Robert Ethan Turner, 21, and Jes­sica Ann Lan­der, 28, were at home when the war­rant was served. Mem­bers of the task force, as­sisted by uni­formed Mary­land State Po­lice troop­ers, en­tered through the un­locked front door af­ter knock­ing and an­nounc­ing them­selves.

The search found 328.4 grams of pro­cessed mar­i­juana, mar­i­juana oil, 0.3 grams of heroin, work­ing dig­i­tal scales, pack­ag­ing ma­te­ri­als, $3,046 in U.S. cur­rency and cel­lu­lar phones, po­lice said.

A search of the sus­pects’ cell phones re­vealed they were ac­tively sell­ing con­trolled dan­ger­ous sub­stances in the area, po­lice said.

This war­rant was the re­sult of a month-long in­ves­ti­ga­tion into neigh­bor­hood com­plaints about the use and sales drugs in the area, in­clude the res­i­dence and the lo­cal park.

Turner, who has a pre­vi­ous crim­i­nal his­tory for drug vi­o­la­tions, was be­ing charged with pos­ses­sion of heroin, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana with the in­tent to dis­trib­ute, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana and pos­ses­sion of para­pher­na­lia.

Lan­der, who has no pre­vi­ous crim­i­nal his­tory, was charged with pos­ses­sion of heroin, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana with the in­tent to dis­trib­ute, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana and pos­ses­sion of para­pher­na­lia.

Turner was re­leased on $7,500 bail, and Lan­der on $5,000.
