Quilt Guild art show­cased at Her­itage and Visi­tor Cen­ter through Au­gust

CH­ESTER — Fiber arts cre­ated by the Queen Anne’s County Quilt Guild are once again be­ing show­cased at the Ch­e­sa­peake Her­itage and Visi­tor Cen­ter, lo­cated at 425 Piney Nar­rows Road. Last year more than 800 visi­tors came from all around to en­joy the group’s handy work.

The Queen Anne’s County Quilt Guild was or­ga­nized in 1988 and they meet at the Im­manuel United Methodist Church, 4700 Main St., Gra­sonville, the last Wed­nes­day of ever y month at 7 p.m. The group has about 50 mem­bers and en­joy speak­ers, show and tell, trunk shows and work­ing on do­na­tions.
