KIVFD car­ni­val com­ing July 24-30

STEVENSVILLE — The Kent Is­land Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment holds its an­nual car­ni­val from 6 to 11 p.m. nightly Sunday, July 24, through Saturday, July 30, at Kent Is­land High School.

Ride night will be ev­ery night and ride bracelets can be pur­chased in ad­vance at a re­duced price of $16 each. They are avail­able at Queen­stown and Shore United Banks (for­merly CNB), Kent Is­land and Ch­ester lo­ca­tions only from July 10 to July 23, and the Kent Is­land Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment July 11 through July 12 on Mon­day, Tues­day, Fri­day, and Saturday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Car­ni­val-go­ers can pick up dis­count coupons at lo­cal busi­nesses for $3 off ride bracelets on the car­ni­val grounds at the reg­u­lar price of $23 each.

Fire­works will take place on Saturday, July 30, at dusk.
