Arts Coun­cil of­fers Paint­brush Party

CENTREVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Arts Coun­cil will host a Paint­brush Party at the Cen­tre for the Arts on Fri­day, July 29. Doors open at 6 p.m.; paint­ing be­gins at 6:30 p.m. Each par­tic­i­pant will re­ceive step-by-step in­struc­tion to cre­ate their own paint­ing of a blue crab.

A Paint­brush Party is a great way to re­lax with friends, meet new peo­ple and en­joy a cre­ative date night, sug­gests Ali­son Mof­fatt with the Arts Coun­cil. Paint­brush Party-go­ers are pro­vided with all the materials needed to com­plete a paint­ing to take home: a 16×20 can­vas, apron, paints, paint­brushes and palette. Re­fresh­ments and ap­pe­tiz­ers are pro­vided.

The Cen­tre is lo­cated at 206 S. Com­merce St. in Centreville. Cost is $40 for mem­bers and $45 for non-mem­bers. To reg­is­ter for the class, call 410-758-2520. Space is lim­ited, so re­serve early.
