MILLINGTON — Mary Gail Davis, of Millington, died on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at University of Maryland, Midtown Campus, in Baltimore. She was 43.
Born on Aug. 21, 1972, in Chester- town, she was the daughter of James Carroll and Debora A. George Shelton of Millington. Mary worked at Parkside Deli in Sudlersville until 2011 when her health forced her to stop. She was a life member of Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company and was president of the fire company auxiliary, where she was also a firefighter and EMT B with the department, until her health forced her to stop her involvement with those ser vices as well.
Mary was a member of Holden’s Chapel Church in Sudlersville. She enjoyed playing bingo, Yahtzee, Facebook and dancing. She also loved animals, especially her dog Chloe.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael T. Davis Sr.; three sons, Michael Davis Jr. and his fiancée Amanda, William Shelton Davis and Matthew Wayne Davis, all of Millington; and a sister, India Hurtt, of Sudlersville. She was predeceased by a son, Dalton Lee Davis in 2006.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at Fellows Family Funeral Home in Millington, where relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening. Interment will be in Millington-Asbury Cemetery following the service.
