William A. Clough Sr.
SUDLERSVILLE — In loving Memory of William Aubrey Clough Sr., 75, who died on 19 July 2016 at his home in Sudlersville, MD, after a long illness. He went peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
William was born on 18 November 1940 in Ridgely, MD. He was the middle child of six children to Ruth and Casper Clough, whom are both deceased. William lived on the Eastern Shore his entire life. William had two children whom he cherished. In 1987, William married Karen M. Clough, who was the love of his life. They created many memories of raising a blended family together and enjoyed traveling to multiple vacation spots with family and friends. William enjoyed outdoor recreations; he was an avid hunter and liked to fish. He enjoyed bowling and liked to watch the sport of golf and western movies. William worked at Choptank Electric Company his entire adult life and retired in 1998 after many years of service.
William is survived by his wife, Karen; his son, William A. Clough Jr. and his wife Millie; his stepchildren, Richard A. Reedy Jr. and his wife Crystal Reedy; Katrina H. Gestole and her husband Michael Gestole; and Diana L. Rollins and her husband Jesse W. Rollins. He is further survived by his brother Charles and wife Libby Clough, brother David Clough, and sister Doris Chandler. William is the grandfather to 11 grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.
William is preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Michelle Clough, who was the light of his life and will forever be his guardian angel. He is further preceded in death by his sister, Eloise Clough and brother Robert Clough.
A private prayer service will be held with the immediate family. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Compass Regional Hospice staff, Christina, Krystle and Chaplain Nancy, who provided comforting care.
