CENTREVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Fair is quickly approaching. Scheduled to start Monday, Aug. 8, and running through Saturday night, Aug. 13, the fair will have a new and unique vendor this year, The Donut Peddler. Ron Carter of Centreville will be there making fresh, warm homemade donuts, the old-time way.

All vanilla cake-style donuts, covered in either cinnamon sugar or powder confectioner sugar, Carter will cook them up using his donut making machinery. The price is $1 per donut. Also, orders can be placed for half a dozen, $5, or a dozen donuts for $10.

Carter said, “I think they’re best served warm.”
