Smith, Cook an­nounce their en­gage­ment

Shaena Leigh Smith of Sykesville and Ja­cob Thomas Cook of Centreville have an­nounced their en­gage­ment. The wed­ding is set for Sept. 10, 2016, in Centreville.

The bride-elect is a 2006 grad­u­ate of South Car­roll High School and re­ceived a Bach­e­lor of Science in Nurs­ing from Shep­herd Univer­sity in 2011. She is em­ployed as a reg­is­tered nurse at the Univer­sity of Mary­land Shore Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Eas­ton. Her par­ents are Chuck and Amy Smith of Sykesville. Her grand­par­ents are Regina and the late Melvin Leppo and the late Fritz and Doris Smith.

The bride­groom-elect is a 2008 grad­u­ate of Queen Anne’s County High School and re­ceived a Bach­e­lor of Science in Sports Mar­ket­ing from Shep­herd Univer­sity in 2013. He is em­ployed as a sales sup­port rep­re­sen­ta­tive at Wil­lard Agri-Ser­vice in Lynch. His par­ents are Tom and Laura Nan Cook of Centreville. His grand­par­ents are Howard and Lor­raine Cook and the late W. Ray­mond and Shirley Baker.
