Senior centers host talk on scams Sept 7
CENTREVILLE — Jeannine Robinson, with the Maryland Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division, will offer a free presentation at each senior center in Queen Anne’s County on Sept. 7.
Attendees will learn about the eight telltale signs of a scam, popular scams to watch out for and how to avoid becoming a victim of a scam.
The classes are being held at the following times and places: 9 a.m., Kent Island Senior Center (410-604-380); 10:30 a.m, at Grasonville Senior Center (410-827-6010) and 12:30 p.m., Sudlersville Senior Center (410-438-3159.)
