CEN­TRE­VILLE — Anne Jef­frey Robi­nett of Cen­tre­ville, MD, passed away on July 27, 2016, at Com­pass Re­gional Hospice Cen­ter in Cen­tre­ville, MD. She was 65.

Born on Dec. 30, 1950, in Keyser, WV, the daugh­ter of the late Blair J. Robi­nett and Deloris Jean Leighton Robi­nett. She grew up in a mil­i­tary fam­ily and would end up in Cen­tre­ville in 1960.

Anne earned her BS and Mas­ter’s de­gree in Ele­men­tary Ed­u­ca­tion from Sal­is­bury Univer­sity. She taught for 30 years at Sudlersville Mid­dle school and Ele­men­tary and then for 14 years at Ken­nard Ele­men­tary school.

Anne loved to read, col­lect stamps, do needle­work and vol­un­teer at Cor­sica Hills Nurs­ing Home, where she as­sisted with fel­low­ship to those that needed it. Her en­tire life was spent teach­ing “her chil­dren”.

Anne is sur­vived by her sis­ters: Robbie Robi­nett of Cen­tre­ville; Melody R. Wilkins of Princess Anne, MD; niece Erin and her hus­band Eric; and great nephew Owen.

Ser­vices will be held on Satur­day, Au­gust 13, 2 p.m. at the Fellows, Helfen­bein & New­nam Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cen­tre­ville, MD.
