The following is a question submitted by a patron and answered by the library:

Q. — Will shaking a Polaroid camera make it develop faster?

A. — The library went to Google to find out that you cannot make it develop faster by shaking it.

BOOK DISCUSSION

The author’s last novel is a deeply humane comingof-age tale set in the early 1950s. It draws from the author’s rich personal history and ranges across much of his storied American West. Forever the master of colorful characters and landscapes, reflecting the vastness and vulnerability of the human heart, Doig has left us with a rollicking road trip filled with both.

Questions may be phoned in Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. or Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 410-745-0980 or 410-643-8161.
