CHESTERTOWN — Karol Jean Ford, better known as “Suzy,” of Chestertown, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore City, following a long battle with diabetes. She was 58.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1957, daughter of Lawrence Theodore Ford and the late Carol Quillen Ford Perkins, who preceded her in death on March 30, 2016.
She is survived by a daughter, Victoria “Tori” Clough, and her children. A son, Jonathan Clough, preceded her in death in 2013.
Suzy also is survived by her father, Lawrence Theodore Ford; her brothers and sisters, Michael Ford, Steven Ford, Larry Ford, Bridget/Bill Rahr, and Barbara/Terry Williams, all of Chestertown; and her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Suzy grew up in Chestertown and attended school there. She liked to bowl.
In later years, she worked for Bill Walls at his seafood business in Chestertown up until her illness.
She donated her body to Anatomy Gifts Registry.
Suzy had a kind and loving heart and will be greatly missed.
