Art in the Park comes back to Stevensville

STEVENSVILLE — Tucked away be­tween Love Point Road and Cockey Lane, the Pocket Park in His­toric Stevensville will once again trans­form into a live mixed me­dia can­vas.

The Stevensville Arts and En­ter­tain­ment com­mit­tee will host the Eighth An­nual Art in the Park in the His­toric vil­lage on Satur­day, Sept. 24. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine. Ex­pe­ri­ence the lo­cal color and fla­vors along with the artists and ar­ti­sans of the area.

As you stroll through the park you will dis­cover a large va­ri­ety of lo­cal cre­ations, orig­i­nal paint­ings and prints, photography, pot­tery, sculp­ture and much more. The lo­cal shops, bak­ery, restau­rants and gal­leries will be open. Mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment and food stands will add to the cheer­ful at­mos­phere. Spe­cial draw­ings for gift bas­ket, artists do­nat­ing lim­ited edition prints as prizes are of­fered this year.
