Commissioners proclaim Aug. 27 Day of Service to veterans
The Queen Anne’s County Commissions have proclaimed Aug. 27 as a Day of Service to veterans. Aug. 27 is the 240th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Island, in which citizens of Queen Anne’s County fought. The commissioners encourage all citizens to participate in the Day of Service.
