CENTREVILLE — There will be plenty of fun for children at the Queen Anne’s County Library during the month of September.

Children’s librarian Miss Jenny will have Mother Goose on the Loose for all youngsters 3 to 36 months, with an adult, each Tuesday from Sept. 6, through Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. Join them for nursery rhymes, songs, movement, puppets and a story.

Ever y Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., beginning Sept. 7, through Oct. 26, all those ages 2 to 5, with an adult, will enjoy Story Time with songs, rhymes and movement, followed by a craft, along with plenty of stories.

All young people in second through fifth grades will want to be at the library Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. to learn about catapults and even make one of your own. The session will last 45 minutes.

This same age group can come into the library anytime from Sept. 19, through Sept. 30, to guess how many Lego bricks are in the container. Each time you come in you may make a guess. The closest guess will win a prize.

Look for many more activities lined up for October and November.
