Position open on Plumbing Board
CENTREVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are looking county residents interested in serving on the county’s Plumbing Board.
The board acts as an advisor to the County Commissioners regarding the administration of the county’s plumbing code and plumbing office. It hears and attempts to resolve complaints, disputes, or questions regarding plumbing matters with property owners or their agents, licensed plumbers or the plumbing inspector.
No plumbing experience is necessary as this vacancy is for a member of the general public. The current member has moved out of the county and may no longer serve. The term will begin upon appointment of the county commissioners and expire Jan. 1, 2019.
The Plumbing Board meets the fourth Thursday of each month; due to holidays, November and December meetings are held on the third Thursday of the respective months.
