Ar­ti­sans Fair set at Sym­phony Vil­lage

CENTREVILLE — Sym­phony Vil­lage Out­reach Pro­gram Inc. will host its 6th Ar­ti­sans’ Fair on Satur­day, Sept. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the Sym­phony Vil­lage Club­house, 100 Sym­phony Way in Centreville.

Thirty lo­cal ar­ti­sans are ex­pected to of­fer their hand-crafted cre­ations for sale. Arts and crafts will in­clude wa­ter­col­ors, fas­ci­na­tors, mo­saics, jew­elry, scroll saw wood art, pen and ink illustrations, one-of-a-kind wo­ven bas­kets, knit­ted and quilted items, chil­dren’s hair and fash­ion ac­ces­sories, acr ylic paint­ing on a va­ri­ety of sur­faces, themed soaps, wooden toys, note cards and prints, hand-crafted and hand-painted ceram­ics, wood art puz­zles and much more.

Bag lunches will be avail­able for pur­chase, as will be sev­eral raf­fles and door prizes — need not be present to win. Ad­mis­sion to the Ar­ti­sans’ Fair is free, but do­na­tions will be ac­cepted. Am­ple free park­ing is on site.

SVOPI is a 501(c)3 non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tion, and SVOPI’s por­tion of the pro­ceeds will go to sup­port other non­profit and civic or­ga­ni­za­tions in Queen Anne’s County. For more in­for­ma­tion, call 410-758-3194.
