Ethel Greeson Morris
CENTREVILLE — Ethel Greeson Morris, 83, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016. She was born Oct. 9, 1932. She was well known for Ethel’s Sub Shop (The best subs around). She loved her family, hats, bingo, quilting, crocheting and cook- ing. She always asked us at night to have a big piece of chocolate cake.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Augusta Greeson, Smith Greeson; her husband, William E. Morris Sr.; daughter, Sharon Sutton; and daughterin-law Debbie Morris; grandson, Robbie Morris; granddaughters: Melissa and Melanie; siblings Tom Greeson; Sis Bishop; Jack Greeson; George Greeson and Max Greeson. Mrs. Morris is survived by William Morris Jr., Garrie Morris, Michael Morris (Cindy), Stephanie Tibbitt (Jeff), Chris Morris (Sandy), Wendy Palmatary (Eddie), and Daphne Walls, Stacey Morris, Jimmy Morris (Christine); sisters: Sara Boukner, Virginia Cahall and brother Donald Greeson as well as 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 28, at noon with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam, 408 South Liberty St., Centreville.
