CEN­TRE­VILLE — Ethel Gree­son Mor­ris, 83, passed away on Thurs­day, Aug. 25, 2016. She was born Oct. 9, 1932. She was well known for Ethel’s Sub Shop (The best subs around). She loved her fam­ily, hats, bingo, quilt­ing, cro­chet­ing and cook- ing. She al­ways asked us at night to have a big piece of choco­late cake.

She is pre­ceded in death by her par­ents: Augusta Gree­son, Smith Gree­son; her hus­band, Wil­liam E. Mor­ris Sr.; daugh­ter, Sharon Sut­ton; and daugh­terin-law Deb­bie Mor­ris; grand­son, Rob­bie Mor­ris; grand­daugh­ters: Melissa and Me­lanie; sib­lings Tom Gree­son; Sis Bishop; Jack Gree­son; Ge­orge Gree­son and Max Gree­son. Mrs. Mor­ris is sur­vived by Wil­liam Mor­ris Jr., Gar­rie Mor­ris, Michael Mor­ris (Cindy), Stephanie Tib­bitt (Jeff), Chris Mor­ris (Sandy), Wendy Pal­matary (Ed­die), and Daphne Walls, Stacey Mor­ris, Jimmy Mor­ris (Chris­tine); sis­ters: Sara Boukner, Vir­ginia Ca­hall and brother Don­ald Gree­son as well as 23 grand­chil­dren and 23 great-grand­chil­dren.

Visi­ta­tion was Sun­day, Aug. 28, at noon with a me­mo­rial ser­vice to fol­low at 1 p.m. at Fel­lows, Helfen­bein & New­nam, 408 South Lib­erty St., Cen­tre­ville.
