Safe Sitter class set for Oct. 1 in Easton
EASTON — The popular Safe Sitter class, taught by pediatric nurses for youth ages 11-13, will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nick Rajacich Health Education Center at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton.
Safe Sitter is a national, nonprofit organization that provides programs to teach youth life and safety skills for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. More than 175 lives have been saved by Safe Sitter graduates using their skills. More information about the program may be found at www.safesitter.org.
