4th Degree Assembly Knights install officers
CHESTERTOWN — The Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus installed new officers on Thursday, Sept. 8, in Chestertown.
The Father Lutz Assembly No. 2702 consists of Fourth Degree Knights from three Eastern Shore councils belonging to the Knights of Columbus organization. The Father Lutz Fourth Degree Assembly in Chestertown is a Catholic men’s group and has been active in community charity throughout the past year. The Assembly will focus most on charitable work towards helping military veterans during the 2016–2017 term.
Kenny Platt Sr. was reelected to lead the Assembly and is in his third term. Platt’s official title as the leader of the Assembly is Worthy Faithful Navigator. Barry Donadio was re-elected as second in command of the group. His official title is Worthy Faithful Captain. He is expected to take leadership of the Assembly by September 2017.
“Kenny is wonderful and the perfect person to lead such a prestigious group,” Donadio said. “I am honored to serve in his staff.”
