Marijuana found in traffic stop
CENTREVILLE —Marijuana and a smoking device were allegedly found in a traffic stop on Route 309 at Back Starr Road on Tuesday, Aug. 30, according to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Michael Piasecki stopped a Toyota Tacoma for allegedly speeding and reported he smelled an odor of marijuana. A search of the truck resulted in the seizure of a small amount of alleged marijuana and a smoking device.
The driver, Mark William Dunaway, 39, of Millersville was issued a civil citation for the drug possession and a traffic ticket.
