Where is the outrage?
So where is the outrage now? It seems now that Congress is grilling the Ceo of Mylan because of it’s obvious greed in pricing Epipen. Now all of a sudden when the public is outraged the politicians have to make believe they care and will actually do something about drug companies’ distain for patients who use their drugs.
It’s all about the money and for some reason which we all know is that money flowing into the campaign funds of Republicans and Democrats alike may come to an end if those same politicians actually do something.
They can save money for taxpayers by negotiating drug prices for Medicare part D for one. They do it in the VA.
They slapped the wrist of Martin Shkreli for his company, Turing, for doing the same thing. Maybe if they actually pass some legislation will taxpayers and patients believe that they care.
