Mary­land Ac­cess Point to host con­fer­ence for se­niors

CEN­TRE­VILLE – The Queen Anne’s County Mary­land Ac­cess Point (MAP) of­fice and its In­ter-Agency Com­mit­tee will of­fer a free con­fer­ence for se­niors, in­di­vid­u­als with dis­abil­i­ties, and care­givers on Thurs­day, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the De­part­ment of Com­mu­nity Ser­vices, 104 Pow­ell St., Cen­tre­ville.

The topic will be “Ag­ing Well To­gether.” Speak­ers are spon­sored by the Area Agency on Ag­ing, De­part­ment of Health, Caro­line Nurs­ing and Re­hab, Com­pass Re­gional Hospice, Seren­ity En­hance­ment Cen­ter, LLC, and the Uni­ver­sity of Mary­land Shore Re­gional Health.

Lunch is in­cluded in this free event, but pre-regis­tra­tion is re­quired. There will also be free give­aways and free raf­fles.
