Soistman helps bring smiles to Centreville
CENTREVILLE — Saturday, Oct. 15, brought good weather and plenty of smiles to the first Centreville Smiles day hosted by Dr. Jonathan Soistman and Soistman Family Dentistry of Centreville. Soistman was joined by Jared Nave, DDS, of Easton and John Davlikios, DMD, and Sam Pollina, DMD, of Annapolis, along with a host of staff and volunteers.
The line began to form at 5:45 a.m. said Laura Livingston, of Soistman Family Dentistry, and the staff and patients were grateful for the beautiful weather the day afforded.
Outdoor seating was provided by one of the many sponsors, and volunteers assisted patients in getting to the right station and completing necessary paperwork. Because of the smooth flow and availability of donated resources, Livingston said, the dentists and staff were able to see 65 patients. Several of those patients were able to receive a second service, like a tooth cleaning after an extraction.
Livingston said the patients were complimentary about the service they received, noting one told her, “I had a tooth pulled and it was actually fun.”
Soistman plans to make the event an annual one.
Residents from Queen Anne’s County and the surrounding area line up to participate in the first Centreville Smiles day hosted by Soistman Family Dentistry in Centreville.
