Drop off out­dated, un­wanted med­i­ca­tions

SUDLERSVILLE — Time to get rid of un­used and ex­pired medicine. Lo­cal law en­force­ment en­cour­ages res­i­dents of Queen Anne’s County to par­tic­i­pate in the Rx RoundUp and Drug Take Back Pro­gram. Un­used med­i­ca­tions can be dis­posed of safely — with­out fear of fall­ing into un­wanted hands or harm­ing the en­vi­ron­ment.

Col­lec­tion sites are open Tues­day, Oct. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sudlersville Se­nior Cen­ter, Thurs­day, Oct. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m at the Kent Is­land Vol­un­teer Fire Depart­ment, and year long at the Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice and Mary­land State Po­lice Cen­tre­ville Bar­racks.
