State trans­porta­tion plan meet­ing set Nov. 1

CEN­TRE­VILLE — The state’s trans­porta­tion plan through year 2022 will be the topic of an open meet­ing at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1, at the Queen Anne’s County Com­mis­sion­ers Of- fice in Cen­tre­ville.

Mary­land Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion Sec­re­tary Pete Rahn will present the State’s draft six year cap­i­tal in­vest­ment pro­gram for trans­porta­tion, the Draft Fis­cal Year 2017-2022 Con­sol­i­dated Trans­porta­tion Pro­gram to the County Com­mis­sion­ers and the Eastern Shore Del­e­ga­tion.

MDOT has posted the Draft CTP on­line at www.ctp. mar yland.gov.

The CTP in­cludes cap­i­tal projects that are gen­er­ally new, ex­panded or sig­nif­i­cantly im­proved fa­cil­ity or ser­vice that may in­volve plan­ning, en­vi­ron­men­tal stud­ies, de­sign, right-of-way ac­qui­si­tion, con­struc­tion or the pur­chase of es­sen­tial equip­ment re­lated to the fa­cil­ity or ser­vice.
