‘About Faces’ at Arts Council
CENTREVILLE — It’s all “About Faces” at the new exhibit at the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council in Centreville. More than 40 black and white photos entries were submitted in the photo contest, sponsored by the council.

The entries will be judged on Tuesday, Nov. 1, by world renowned photographer and Centreville resident, Anne Nielson.
“We are so excited by the responses we received,’” said Rick Strittmater, Executive Director. “The quality of the photos is amazing.”
The exhibit will open on Friday evening, Nov. 4. with the announcement of the winners followed by a reception from 6 until 9 p.m.
A prize of $100 will go to the first place winner and $50 will go to the second place winner. Others will receive ribbons for Honorable Mention. The exhibit will remain up for the month of November in the arts center gallery at 206 South Commerce Street in Centreville. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call 410-758-2520.
