The retired tire

Record Observer - - Opinion -

A lonely farm tractor tire sits alone in a recently harvested soybean field along the road side on scenic Rt. 213 in Queen Anne’s County. Autumn skies illuminate this setting with woodlands background and fall colors.

The Firestone Radial All Traction farm tractor tires have ultimate traction in all soil types and conditions providing long wear and positive traction in performance and reliability for farming the land. Almost 500 pounds, the rim width is 18 inches, and at over 5 feet tall, the overall diameter is 76.2 inches.

Now this lonely retired tire is a sight to behold! This radial farm tire that was once majestic and worked many hours sunrise to sunset has come to the end of its days on the Shore.
