CENTREVILLE — W.A.C.K.O., W.A.C.K.O., W.A.C.K.O., what is a W.A.C.K.O.? Probably not what you might think! Harmony On The Bay is pleased to present a “Women’s’ Auxiliary Christmas Kick Off” at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at Goodwill Fire Hall in Centreville.

Harmony On The Bay will present an entertaining play about preparing for Christmas while singing a cappella barbershop music. The play was written by HOTB member, Tracy Franz, and takes place in 1955 when a group of ladies meets to prepare an impeccable Christmas for their families. Throughout the program, the ladies sing and tell stories and jokes relating to their Christmas preparations.

Mix It Up Quartet, winners of the 2016 Novice Quartet at the Region 19 Sweet Adelines Quartet Competition, also will perform some of their award-winning songs.

The HOTB chorus will be dressed in 1950s vintage clothing and is excited to present a fun-filled program.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under. Tickets are available by contacting the group at harmonyonthebay@gmail.com or by calling Tracy at 410-699-1007.

Harmony On The Bay is chartered by Sweet Adelines International and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
