Snow tub­ing trip of­fered

CEN­TRE­VILLE — The Queen Anne’s County De­part­ment of Com­mu­nity Ser­vices is of­fer­ing a snow tub­ing recre­ation trip to Round­top Moun­tain Re­sort in Penn­syl­va­nia on Jan. 21.

Gather fam­ily and friends for a fun filled day snow tub­ing. Race down the per­fectly carved lanes, then en­joy a leisurely ride on the Magic Carpet lift back to the top of the hill to do it all over again. Tub­ing is avail­able on the large runs for ages five and up. No ex­pe­ri­ence nec­es­sary.

The snow tub­ing reg­is­tra­tion dead­line is Fri­day, Dec. 2, and will cost $85. Reg­is­tra­tion fee in­cludes mo­tor coach trans­porta­tion, snow tub­ing and one meal ticket per per­son at the Moun­tain Lodge.

Trans­porta­tion will de­part Queen Anne’s County High School at 7 a.m. and the Kent Is­land Park and Ride, next to West­ern Auto, at 7:20 a.m. with an es­ti­mated ar­rive back to the county at 9 p.m.
