Heck with the Malls returns to Centreville
CENTREVILLE — Heck with the Malls returns to Centreville for another year of local holiday shopping. For 20 years shoppers looking for unique gifts have found those gifts at Queen Anne’s County Arts Council “Heck With the Malls,” the holiday season’s best artisan shopping experience.
Over 40 vendors in two buildings will display and offer for sale gifts from pottery and prints to soap and sea glass. All items are uniquely hand crafted and presented by local talent.
The Dec. 3 event will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Centre for the Arts, 206 S. Commerce Street, and St. Paul’s Church, 1 South Liberty Street, in Centreville.
“We encourage holiday shoppers to shop small and support local artisans,” said Arts Council Chairman Tom Helfenbein. Helfenbein also noted local businesses throughout Centreville will also be participating with special offerings and discounts.
