Commissioners tour CTE programs
CENTREVILLE — Queen Anne’s County Interim Superintendent of Schools Gregory Pilewski and County Commissioners Mark Anderson, Jack Wilson and Robert Buckey recently toured the Career and Technology Education programs at Queen Anne’s County High School to collaborate more on workforce development.
“Our County Commissioners are tremendous partners and supporters of our school system and today was a great opportunity to collaborate more on developing a 21st century workforce,” Pilewski said.
The tour included obser vation of career pathway programs in the Health Professions, Automotive Technology, Environmental Agriculture and Natural Resources, Construction Design and Management, Cosmetology, and Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.
Also participating in the tour were Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services Janet Pauls, Queen Anne’s County High School Principal Dr. Angie Holocker and Supervisor of Instruction-CTE Tina Thomas.
