Centreville Manufacturing opens store on KI

STEVENSVILLE — Centreville Manufacturing Inc. (Centreville Trailer) has relocated its factory parts operations to the Kent island Shopping Center. The sign above the store merely says “Trailer Parts” — replacing the former sign of Jinx’s Liquors.

“People that drove by our factory every day had no idea that we had a parts showroom. Our old location at 301 and 304 was a little off the beaten path, and the new bridge overpass has blocked our visibility from the highway. We worried that we would become even more unknown,” said owner John Doran.

“We think this move will give us better traffic visibility from the highway, and a retail store is more inviting than visiting the factory.”
