Po­lice seize drugs, guns in Stevensville

STEVENSVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Sher­iff’s Of­fice Tac­ti­cal Team and K-9 units ex­e­cuted a knock and an­nounce search war­rant early Nov. 21 at 1000 Love Point Road, re­sult­ing in the seizure of drug para­pher­na­lia and as­so­ci­ated charges to three in­di­vid­u­als.

A search of the res­i­dence found two grams of heroin, heroin pack­ag­ing ma­te­ri­als, trace co­caine, a dig­i­tal scale, more than a gram of mar­i­juana and three loaded shot­guns, the po­lice re­port stated. Three firearms were seized: a Benelli 12 gauge shot­gun, a Spring­field 12 gauge shot­gun and a Moss­berg 12 gauge shot­gun.

Sid­ney Floyd Roy, 47, Sarah El­iz­a­beth Com­fort, 20, and Denise Rene War­rick, 48, all of Stevensville, were in the home and re­ceived mul­ti­ple charges, po­lice said.

Roy, who has a his­tory of con­trolled and dan­ger­ous sub­stance vi­o­la­tions, as well as other ar­rests, was charged with pos­ses­sion of heroin, pos­ses­sion of co­caine, pos­ses­sion of para­pher­na­lia and pos­ses­sion of a firearm by a per­son pro­hib­ited, the re­port stated.

Com­fort, who has a record of con­trolled and dan­ger­ous sub­stance vi­o­la­tions, was charged with pos­ses­sion of heroin, pos­ses­sion of co­caine and pos­ses­sion of para­pher­na­lia, the re­port stated.

War­rick was is­sued a civil ci­ta­tion for pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana un­der 10 grams.

Roy was held on a $7,500 bond, and Com­fort was re­leased on a $2,500 un­se­cured bond.
