Police seize drugs, guns in Stevensville
STEVENSVILLE — The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Team and K-9 units executed a knock and announce search warrant early Nov. 21 at 1000 Love Point Road, resulting in the seizure of drug paraphernalia and associated charges to three individuals.
A search of the residence found two grams of heroin, heroin packaging materials, trace cocaine, a digital scale, more than a gram of marijuana and three loaded shotguns, the police report stated. Three firearms were seized: a Benelli 12 gauge shotgun, a Springfield 12 gauge shotgun and a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun.
Sidney Floyd Roy, 47, Sarah Elizabeth Comfort, 20, and Denise Rene Warrick, 48, all of Stevensville, were in the home and received multiple charges, police said.
Roy, who has a history of controlled and dangerous substance violations, as well as other arrests, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, the report stated.
Comfort, who has a record of controlled and dangerous substance violations, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia, the report stated.
Warrick was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana under 10 grams.
Roy was held on a $7,500 bond, and Comfort was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
