The fol­low­ing is a ques­tion sub­mit­ted by a pa­tron and an­swered by the Li­brary:

Q.– I need to know how to cook game: veni­son and fowl.

A.– The Li­brary has two cook­ing books to help: “The Com­plete Guide to Hunt­ing, butcher­ing and Cook­ing Wild Game,” and “Duck Duck Goose Recipes and Tech­niques for Cook­ing Ducks and Geese.”

COL­LEC­TION POINT The Li­brary is a col­lec­tion lo­ca­tion for the Girl Scout Troop 163, that is ask­ing for do­na­tions for peo­ple who were vic­tims of the wild­fires in Ten­nessee. Non-per­ish­able food items and toi­letries are needed.

CRAFT NIGHT The Li­brary will hold one more craft night on Dec. 28 at 6:30 p.m., where reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired. This is for adults and there will be lim­ited space. The craft is Painted Ma­son Jar Snow­man, and all ma­te­ri­als will be pro­vided. You may regis­ter by go­ing to qa­cli­­en­dar.
