••• MATINEE MOVIE
We will have another Matinee Movie at Centreville in January and February, with free refreshments, beginning at 2 p.m. each time. The movie on Friday, January 13, will be “Florence Foster Jenkins,” starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant. On Friday, February 10, at 2 p.m. the movie will be “Sully” with Tom Hanks starring as the airline pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger who made an emergency landing on the Hudson River in January 2009, saving all passengers.

Registration will be required for anyone wishing to attend the library on Wednesday, February 15, at 6 p.m. with an introduction to Genealogical Research.

Please remember others not so fortunate this holiday season. The library has an Adopt-a-Bear tree in the Main Reading Room and a large box to drop off donations being asked by Girl Scout Troop 163 for people who were victims of the wildfires in Tennessee.

You can register at the library for the Cookie Exchange to be held Wednesday, January 11, at 6 p.m. Bring in a batch of cookies and your recipe to exchange with others.
