On Nov. 12, Kennard Alumni hosted its annual fund raiser at the newly restored Kennard High School Cultural Heritage Center — a night of fun, food, remembrances and a silent auction that was enjoyed by all.

This year’s event also cel- ebrated 80 years of Kennard High School’s existence and the completion of the restoration project’s final phase. Old friends reminisced and memories were captured for future generations to enjoy. But none of this would have been possible without the help of our friends and neighbors.

So, the Kennard Alumni Association says thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, auction contributors, advertisers, paid guests and volunteers for their participation in this year’s event. We offer a special thank you to Chesapeake Publishing for helping to promote this event.

Your generosity helped to raise almost $15,000 for the Kennard High School Cultural Heritage Center and the alumni’s scholarship fund. This project will provide a multitude of educational, cultural, recreational and resource referral programs for the youth and adults of Queen Anne’s County.

Once again, thank you for helping to bring this dream to reality.
