Friends of ASO host music tour to Europe

AN­NAPO­LIS — The Friends of the An­napo­lis Sym­phony Or­ches­tra is pleased to an­nounce a music tour to Europe, May 30-June 9, 2017, led by the An­napo­lis Sym­phony Or­ches­tra Mae­stro Jose-Luis Novo.

The tour will go to Salzburg and Vi­enna, Austria, and Prague in the Czech Repub­lic. Mu­si­cal high­lights in­clude the works of Han­del, Haydn, Vi­valdi, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Gersh­win and Karel Ruz­icka, among oth­ers. Op­eras, bal­lets (Swan Lake), and sym­phonic works will be per­formed by Vi­enna Sym­phony Or­ches­tra and Vi­enna Sin­gakademie, the Vi­enna State Opera, the Prague Sym­phony Or­ches­tra, and the Czech Philharmonic.
