A. – 1) Go to the Library website, www.qaclibrary. org. 2) click on “E-LIBRARY” link in blue banner. 3) Select “Databases” in drop down box. 4) Scroll down to “Magazine and Newspaper” heading. 5) Click on “Local Digital Newspaper Archives.”

Be sure to come into the Library in Centreville and look over the carts in the Main Reading Room that are filled with CD Talking Books at just $1 each. Select as many as you wish; there are plenty on each cart.
RESEARCH Registration will be required for anyone wishing to attend the Introduction to Genealogical Research at the Library on Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. Learn how you can use databases through the Library to begin your research into the past. In this introduction session we will explore AncestryPlus, Heritage Quest and Genealogy Connect as well as other print resources available through your library. ••• BOOK OF THE MONTH Registration is also needed for your newest book club, “YA Book Stitch” on Jan. 18 at 6 p.m., where you can bring your newest craft project to work on while we discuss the YA book of the month, “The Lifeboat Clique” by Kathy Parks. This will be for teens and adults.
••• EVERY BODY YOGA You will also have to register for “A Mindful Beginning to a New Year” with Every Body Yoga to be held at the Library on Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. No experience is necessary and all are welcome into this healthy, non-judgmental practice.
••• CHILDREN’S FUN Be sure to look over the many winter fun programs Miss Jenny has lined up this month and next for children. Going on now each Tuesday through Jan. 24 will be Mother Goose on the Loose at 10:30 a.m. for ages 3 months to 36 months; and Wednesdays at the same time will be Story Time for ages 2 to 5, all with adult or caregiver. Pick up a schedule Miss Jenny has for children through Februar y.
