DEN­TON — John Wil­liam Marti­nenza passed away on De­cem­ber 31, 2016 at Caro­line Hospice Cen­ter. He was 85. Born on Dec. 13, 1931 in Twin Oaks, PA, the son of the late An­thony J. and Ella Marti­nenza. John served in the Korean War in the United States Army. He was re­tired from be­ing a heavy equip­ment oper­a­tor, which he loved and had done most of his life.

When John wasn’t work­ing, he loved be­ing out on his boat, ei­ther crab­bing or fish­ing.

John is sur­vived by his first wife, Julie (née: Sacher); chil­dren: John Marti­nenza, Christina Christy, Michael Marti­nenza, Julie Marti­nenza, Jeanne (Richard) Wan­ner, Mary Pepe,
