QUEENSTOWN — A Queenstown vehicle stop originating from a tag check revealing the owner’s license had been suspended resulted in the seizure of controlled dangerous substances on Dec. 7 at 1:32 p.m., according to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Bryant Teron Thomas, 25, of Cambridge, was pulled over in a beige Mazda four-door passenger vehicle on Arrington Road in Queenstown, and police said marijuana odor was present. A K-9 scan alerted the car had drugs as well, police said.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of about 14 grams of suspected marijuana and a digital scale, police said. The Queen Anne’s Drug Task Force was notified, and detectives seized Thomas’ iPhone, $1,198 and the 2001 Mazda.

Thomas was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
