PASADENA, MD. — Sud­denly on Jan­uary 14, 2017, John Ray Quinn Jr. (WOLF) passed away af­ter a brief ill­ness.

Orig­i­nally from the East­ern Shore (Grasonville), John loved work­ing as a water­man do­ing ev­ery­thing from fish­ing, crab­bing, oys­ter man and eel catch­ing with his grand­fa­ther.

John was a long­time Home Im­prove­ment Con­trac­tor (Winch­ester Builders) with ties to the Home De­pot, Lowes and Bray & Scarff.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Su­san; his daugh­ter, Heather Quinn; and his grand­son, Nathan Tyler Quinn. Sur­vivors also are his younger broth­ers: Bruce, Andy, Jeff, Joe; and sis­ter in law, Melissa. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, John Sr. and Ju­lia An­tionette Quinn; his beloved daugh­ter, Amy Quinn; and his brother, Richard Quinn.

Wolf as he is known to many friends — loved rid­ing his mo­tor­cy­cle and was a ded­i­cated mem­ber of the Iron Horse­men Mo­tor­cy­cle Club, whom he thought of as his own fam­ily.

Fam­ily and friends are in­vited to call at the fam­ily owned and op­er­ated McCully-Poly­niak Fu­neral Home, P.A. 3204 Moun­tain Road (Pasadena) on Satur­day from 1 to 4 p.m, where a fu­neral ser­vice will be held at 3 p.m. In­ter­ment Pri­vate.
