Allegations that the Queen Anne’s County Board of Education allowed a former employee to demand sexual favors of female school bus drivers has yet to be resolved.
It has been more than three years since the allegations surfaced and nearly four months after a series of public hearings on the claims in Centreville.
“It’s like a cloud hanging over us,” said John F. Smigo Sr., the deputy superintendent of Queen Anne’s County schools. “Anytime you’re waiting for any kind of decision like this you want to get it over with.”
