On Jan. 21, 2017, more than 55 Democratic women of Queen Anne’s County attended the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. Although our group was comprised of different aged women and men, with varied beliefs and backgrounds, we were united in voicing our concerns regarding women’s equality. We are totally opposed to the divisiveness and lack of respect for women’s issues that President Trump has verbalized and previously demonstrated in his presidential campaign.

We cannot and will not tolerate the same in the Oval Office.

Our participation in the Women’s March was a demonstration of our patriotism and that we care about this great country. Let us be absolutely clear, we Democrats love our country. We offer our support to our new President but he must understand that he represents ALL the people of the United States Of America.

We Queen Anne’s County Democrats are proud to have participated in the Women’s March as an exercise in participating in our democracy.
