Four from QA among Green Bag appointments
ANNAPOLIS — Gov. Larry Hogan on Friday submitted 189 appointments to the Maryland State Senate. Secretary of Appointments Chris Cavey presented the Senate with the names of the “Green Bag” nominees, including four from Queen Anne’s County.
“The appointments we submitted today represent our administration’s continued commitment to the people of Maryland to provide the most responsive, competent, and well-qualified representatives that Marylanders deserve and expect,” Hogan said. “I am proud that these men and women are reflective of the diverse nature of our state, and I look forward to seeing the great things they will accomplish as we continue to Change Maryland for the Better.”
This year’s Green Bag include appointment nominations for more than 70 different boards and commissions.
From Queen Anne’s County, Wayne Richards has been appointed to the board of directors for the Mar yland Agricultural and Resource-Based Industry Development Corporation; Lily Bengfort has been appointed to the Maryland State Arts Council; Audrey Scott has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Automobile Insurance Fund; and Stephen H. Souder has been appointed to the Emergency Number Systems Board.
